Love the coffered ceiling in the living room, and the open plan. To me it looks like you have enough room to add a kitchen island on casters so that you have more prep space to chop veggies etc. Enjoy your new place. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.

@@ILoveLucy21.they make islands on wheels that you can build! they also have some with seating so it’s an island/dining table combo, so yes it’s fully possible.

@@ILoveLucy21. I guess I should have been specific, a mobile kitchen island is more like furniture. It has locking casters. Normally you can choose granite, butcher block, or stainless steel tops. There’s a wide variety of sizes as well as door/drawer/open shelving options and colors available ready to be ordered from stores and online retailers at various price ranges. Anything you can imagine is available.

Although I do have an idea for you, maybe on that wall where you said the couch would go I would maybe actually put your tv on the wall and then have the couch facing it. That would leave some room behind the couch near the kitchen to put a little dining table. But that's just my thoughts. Excited to see how you decorate and design the space ❤

@@TheLaurenNorris Same thought. But can the L be changed to the other side? If it can, then you could still have the floating couch and divide up the space. Also having the TV away from the balcony on the opp wall is better so you dont have glare from the light outside. And you can also use that wall for a projector if you want to host movie nights etc. LOVE the new apartment, its sooooo big and so glad you found another space to call home

I'm so excited, I've been waiting on this!! Be careful with the balcony and Elle. When I lived in Starkville, my cat jumped off my second story balcony and ran away for 2 nights. We found him 2 nights later because he had this awful meow. I think the neighbors tried to steal him, but his meowing in the middle of the night annoyed them 😂😂 There was a 6 foot tall wooden fence between our houses. I called his name while I was crying, and I heard him meow, so I kept calling his name and meowing to him. My husband walked up to their gate and opened it up, and grabbed my baby. The man was drinking out of the milk jug in his tidy whiteys 😂😂 he was just looking out the window at the same time. After that, I never let him go out on the balcony.
