Hi Lauren, What a beautiful vlog and what a beautiful catch. It's a shame you were ill from the cold, in the future you have to bring a rescue blanket, this is a very thin blanket from a kind of aluminum foil on one side it is gold colored and the other side silver colored, wrap this around you and go some standing in the sun and you warm up quickly. Great show as usual Lauren. Apparently nothing stops you from getting in the water. I’ve never been seasick but I’ve seen it. They were neutralized until the boat was docked. Sounds like you need to replace your battery or the solenoid on your starter. Thanks for sharing!

You where talking about eating all parts of the fish, thats why if I can fry a fish whole skin and all thats what I prefer to do there is no waste and they taste great I've also done some in the oven depending on size (some cut off the rib are and throw it out, I pick out the ribs there's just a few)

I’m glad that you are saying that we need to be more sustainable with fishing. I think you should look into what’s happening in the commercial fishing industry. They actually said if we keep harvesting the seas as unsustainable as we are today. The ocean will be completely empty of fish by the year 2040. With the deep sea trollers with nets . If you want to learn more about this and if you have Netflix I highly recommend that you watch the documentary seaspericy. I also can relate to this from my own experience where I live in Michigan. With the Saginaw Bay I remember my dad and grandfather saying that they used to catch perch and walleye like no tomorrow out there. Now with the Native American commercial fishing industry there it’s emptying a lot of the fish stocks and we now catch a lot less fish there ever since the late 1970s when this started on the Saginaw Bay.

17:30 It sounds like you have a lot of hidden corrosion between the battery posts (that's the positive & negative metal posts on your car battery that the battery cables connect to) where the cables connect to them. It happens because fumes from the acid in the battery leak out where the metal posts come through the plastic body of the battery. Tell *ANY car mechanic* that you got your car to start after banging on the posts and they'll understand the problem.

I think the mechanic who replaced my battery didn't tighten the connection enough, so I loosened it up, banged it down again and then tightened the crap out of it and it hasn't happened since!

Great fish, From your car starting description start with sanding battery post and cable terminal ends that should help clean off oxidation tighten bolts to post also see how old battery is around end of warranty they pretty often go bad. After a good cleaning of contacts and if the battery still is weak . . . . try interstate battery for your car costco sells them they are nice strong batteries also get highest Amp for size of battery that will fit in car so dimensions of existing battery but with higher Amperage then it should start right up. Love how deep you dive I lived in Micronesia and dove a bunch there. I used to dive 50ft to around 70ft as there weren't much fish or nice coral beyond that in most places you are an impressive diver . Maybe check what you're eating and recall if I eat this I feel maybe sick on more rough seas days. Any animal fat tends get to me and also onions. Start to pay attention to what what. You are that makes you feel bad; so for me I noticed Pizza & then I felt bad even though I was very athletic then I singled out oh its onions in pizza or whatever. I love your clean speech and great care and friendship with those you are around. Keep on doing good. Best David

nice. usually cook fish whole. had a diner party with halibut i speared someone said what kind of fisherman leaves the bones in & i thought a person that eats a lot of fish. i like eating the crunchy tail bits its like fish chips when its fried. tried eating the eyeballs after i saw your other video. the eyeball its self is chalky the outer part of eye is kind of like fish fat

I see you didn't deal well with the sea that time, but for jigging it is the best because it helps you, because the effect on the lure! It's easily avoidable. I actually brought that up to him, all you have to do is push the line away from you while you're swimming and fighting the fish upcurrent. You can see me doing that in my most recent video.

A wetsuit is a safety device in freediving. It provides buoyancy if you blackout on the surface and will keep you on the surface so you buddy doesn’t have to rescue you off the bottom of the ocean.
