Informative tech at Spear America knows his industry so very well, interesting watching him calibrate and rig your new spear gun also explain some important flaws, tips that manufacturers and other recreational spear divers make. Nothing like fresh scallops straight from the shell especially mussels and sea urchins yummo 🤤 Perhaps consider coming to New Zealand, fantastic variety of sea life here, would be exciting to watch you spear a Kingi their huge. @@LaurenSarasua I highly recommend Kerry Flowers another enthusiast recreational spear diver that can take you to some great diving places on the north island of NZ and our NZ icon Matt Watson whom is a expert fisherman that knows where everything is North to South islands coast to coast and knows a lot of history here great tourist guide and also likes spear diving, both cook their catches so you can enjoy the hospitality, food and flavours of NZ 🙂

Incredible video. And two legends of spearfishing teaming up wow wow wow. Spearamerica is an incredible company. I fly from east coast to do my shopping for west coast spearing. When you mention 12 pounds of weight with 2 pounds extra, i was like what? you are gonna sink like a rock. but when i saw that polosub that suddenly made sense. Long beach is rat hole for spearfishing, thats only 1/3 of the story. for the such ling flight you should have gone to channel islands or at least catalina. much different to FL, CA lobsters are off season until maybe sometime October. thank you for great content🎉🎉🎉

That's my backyard !😆😁 Palos Verdes, CA. The diving there is good, and Santa Catalina island off in the distance is great. I've fished the backside of Catalina and had some luck with sea bass and sometimes yellow fin. It is mostly recreational fishing. Where you are now is also good for whale watching. Blue Whales migrate thru there in the late Summer and Grey's too. So I hope you have some good sights and catches while you're there. Hopefully there's a Part 2 and 3 for this California trip
