I got mine from Aorus directly. The board is amazing. Running 14900KS with the RAM at 8000 MT. Crazy a 4 DIMM board can do 8000 on the RAM. Really great board.

One thing you forgot the mention, the additional X at the end of the product name is actually adding performance, especially if you pair it up with a RX 7900XTX , to 4× the performance :p And happy end of the year! Can't wait to see the crazy motherboard reviews you'll come up with in 2024!

Question: What if I put thermal pad between that power phases and that metal m.2 heatspreader ? Downside of m.2 don't need to be cooled so I would remove bottom pad from m.2, it would only have pad on upper heatspreader and I would personally only put pad on controller of m.2. What do you think about that idea ?

No and yes M.2 gen 5 definitely needs to be cooled for optimum longevity and performance. Please for your PCs sake do not do any thing you explained in your Idea.

Compared to the ProArt CReator Z790? For Pshop and LightRoom users, non gamer? They are the same price at sale, and the only significant + I see on the ProArt is the BackIO having TBolt4, but less USB options. The ProArt tops out at 128gb mem, though the Masterx may not do the promised numbers as you state. I have to say, this is the first I have seen your channel, and I first was shaking my head, BUT, then you did amazing explanations with the perfect diagrams, Excellent. I would say you need to specify and carve out a niche of your video time to Creators! Would be valuable! So, which MOBO for the i7 14700K? Master X or ProArt ? I looked through your videos, and WOW...Not ONE non game-centric mobo...well, 3 years back there was one. Pretty surprising no review on the ProArt.

I have this motherboard for about 3 months and i notice that my i91400kf tends to overclock itself and i have to tune it down to be able to play cod without crashing. Any explanations on why thags happening?

In bios setting you can turn off automatic overclocking and set it to manual

The only motherboards for high speed rams are: Apex or Tachyon. Aorus Elite X will do everything that Master does, meaning around 6933-7000mhz with 2x16 or 2x24. 6800mhz for sure. 7200mhz if you are lucky with good cpu imc and A-die kit and tuning volts. Master is only good for those who seek looks and rgb in vrm heatsink some extra usb slots (but who needs so many) and 10G lan port (but who has 10G router). Elite X is the obvious pick.

Actually, Master X is a full-fledged competitor to Asus Hero, and not the fucking MSI Carbon or Asus Strix E. There is a bias towards Gigabyte.

I have this motherboard and the SSD/heatsink toolless design is absolute garbage. It makes NO contact with the SSD with a thermal pade isntalled. It doesn't compress even remotely close to tight enough. I have 2 thermal pads under it and it's still not great. RAM stability is also just mediocre.
