Hello, the system I will assemble is as follows, 14700k CPU, G Skill Trident z5 32 Gb (16x2) 7800 Mhz cl36 and Z790 Aorus Elite X model motherboard. My question to you is, can I use 7800 Mhz ram? Have you tried it under load?

Impossible to make my side work, I have never struggled so much, the motherboard refuses all. The ssd are present but impossible to boot on once windows to install, I stay on a black screen. I tried Windows 10 and 11. Anyone have a good link to set up the bios or just make it work?

Hi all, and thank you for another awesome video, Laurent. I will be receiving my board today. The question I have, is that do I really have to connect my 4090 to the pcie power on the motherboard? Lower mid section, or can I just rely on my power supply to feed the power to the motherboard and the gpu as normal. Currently, I am using Mag B550 Tomahawk max wifi.

i purchased this board on 18 feb 2022. it failed and shut off automatically while browsing on 13 jan 2025.After that it never booted , displayed or did post. .when i push the power button it kind click for split second and then turn off. then i hv unplugged and replug psu to put on the stuff again . every time it behaves like this . its shows RGB lights on only on motherboard. have done all kinds of ram, gpu , power button connectors troubleshooting and still it didn't worked at all. pls help and guide me. what shud be tge issue ? my configuration i7 12700 non k 32gb vengeance rtx 4070 ti super gigabyte eagle oc 16gb 2tb crucial nvme 2tb samsung 970 evo plus 4tb red 2tb & 1tb wd blue 250gb sata ssd evo 6 noctua case fans cooler master cpu air cooler

8:06 it's not a little critique. On x570 tuf I have a huge air cooler +3090ti.. It was a nightmare to press those flaps to get GPU out eventually I broke them... Now I have 4070ti super there which is smaller and a lot quieter.. But I don't know how I'm get it out.. I will have to remove the CPU cooler and see.. Pretty sure I will have to get out the whole mobo if I decide to take out gpu

I have the Z890-A Pro and 8400 is stable with 2x16GB Hynix A-die sticks, so the 9200 is probably for dual channel CUDIMM.

I have the gpu and a gen 4 ssd slotted in the CPU pci-e lane. I need to connect a wifi card and an additional m.2 ssd. Will connecting the wifi card in the other x16 lane slot be fine? Or will this configuration affect my gpu performance? Please suggest

I have this exact card with a 7800x3d and asus 1440p 180hz monitor and I will say this is almost perfection.

I got this board on sale for $163 on a Black Friday sale. Does that needs caps? Def not. I'm running this with a 9800X3D, 64GB G.Skill EXPO RAM (board got default timings right off the bat), a 7800XT GPU, and a 4TB WD Black SN850X NVMe drive... I'm thinking of adding another NVMe drive... maybe a 4TB Teamgroup or SIlicon Power NVMe for backups and a scratch drive. Flashing the BIOS before installing the CPU was a breeze. For the price I'm super happy with the board. No way in hell I'm paying $250-400 for some of the features and VRM I got here.

1 Q Usually when I read other motherboards specifications , it mention that the m.2 gen5 slot X4 share bandwidth with PCIE X16 gen 5 , if using the m.2 slot that will decrease it to X8 is that the case here with this motherboard ?

Since the Taichi is sold out this is the next best bargain. The Carbon and Strix have better aesthetics but they are not $200 better.
