Question 1: The Ghost of Christmas Past - A book that was a childhood favourite: - Well that would be "Christmas Carol" itself, I read it first when I was about 10 and have re-read it since, almost every Christmas and watched all the movie/TV adaptation I can find, absolutely love that story. Question 2: The Ghost of Christmas Present - A recent book that you think will become one of your all time favourites: - It may not be recently published by I just bought "The Blazing World" by Siri Hustvedt which I have high hopes for. Question 3: The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come - A book coming out next year that you're most excited about: - I am currently reading the Manga "Blank Canvas" by Akiko Higashimura and the third volume is coming soon. Question 4: Bah, Humbug! - A book that everyone else loves that you just can't stand: - "Methamorphosis" by Kafka, yes I know it's a classic but for me this was such a Ho Hum experience. Question 5: Bob Cratchit - An old dependable that you always recommend: - "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" By Richard Bach. A simple but powerful tale of finding your own self and not letting outside influences cloud your judgement. Question 6: Tiny Tim - An underhyped book that you think deserves more love. - "Fuzzy Thinking: The New Science of Fuzzy Logic" by Bart Kosko. A very important book, which is all about clearing our brains tendency to think in Black and White or opposites and seeing instead how Fuzzy and Cloudy many things are and how they flow from one to another. Question 7: Today? Why it's Christmas Day! - What's a book that always gets you in the mood for Christmas (apart from A Christmas Carol)?: - "Moominland Midwinter" by Tove Jansson. I got that book for Christmas as a child and even though it's not about Christmas it's full of snow and mysteries and I absolutely love it. Question 8: The Muppet Christmas Carol - You're favourite film adaptation of a book: - 2001 A Space Oddysey - to be fair the book and the screenplay were written at the same time but still it's my All Time Favorite movie, a mindblowing Masterpiece.

Q1: "The Jolly Postman or Other People's Letters" by Janet & Allan Ahlberg Q2: "The House on Mango Street" by Sandra Cisneros, "Rage Becomes Her" by Soraya Chemaly and "Beloved" by Toni Morrison Q3: I also don't know what books will be released next year. Q4: "The Woman in the Window" by A.J. Finn Q5: "Winter of Fire" by Sheryl Jordan, "The Way the Crow Flies" by Anne-Marie MacDonald, and "Like Water for Chocolate" by Laura Esquivel Q6: "Daughter of Fortune" by Isabella Allende, "The Grownup" by Gillian Flynn, and "The Blind Assassin" by Margaret Atwood Q7: Any of the Harry Potter books, Christmas-themed murder mysteries or romances (I'm not a fan of romance, but I really enjoy a Christmas-themed romance at this time of year for some reason.) Q8: "Anne of Green Gables" by Lucy Maud Montgomery (Sullivan Entertainment), "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott (1994), and BBC's "Pride & Prejudice" by Jane Austen (featuring Jennifer Ehle & Colin Firth).

"The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" was my least favorite book that I read this year. I thought I would love it, but I couldn't like a plot where the main character does nothing except out of selfish ambition. I just didn't like Evelyn Hugo as a character and I didn't enjoy reading about her. The plot twist at the end was the only positive for me, but it still didn't make up for the seemingly endless plot which wasn't much of a plot.
