Whenever I listen to this song it kind of make me think about what comes after death, just like an ocean with calm waves and foggy and boats coming to take the souls of the deads to the other side, and every boat has a family ancestors inside them, and our most loved that already gone comes in the boat to help you to get onboard and make the travel to the other side, in my case, I think about my Father and my Grandma who already past away, some kind of greek mithology of the boat man. Take your coins to pay the boat man. So crazy this feels like. Maybe it is like a dream, has no logic, I just feel that and it makes me feel good.

From what I take from the song and when this album was being written, this song seemed to have been heavily influenced by the tsunami that occurred in Japan in 2011. It happened at the beginning of the year and this album was released at the end of the year and Amy Lee has confirmed the song is about death (who would have thought xD). The tsunami part is just my speculation since this song has a storm/ocean theme to it.
