I saw this paricular show back then when I was a teenager. From then on i wanted to make electronic music, it complete changed my course. Thank you Laurie Anderson!

I love her words halfway through, that she wants the avant-garde and the pop worlds to cross paths more often. One of the most powerful artists of both the 20th and 21st centuries.

wow - can`t believe they showed such a performance in German TV back in 1984 (in that time there were only 2 main channels in West German TV) - Alfred Biolek is a good host and presenter - and he seems very interested.

Lots of girls/women don't know they have that effect on men when they're just being friendly, I know I didn't. And a lot of them will know one day that if you're smiling at a (strange) man, there will always be men who think you fancy them, and make their move. And if you got a guy in front of you who doesn't like to be turned down or whatever, you've got a problem. So, don't show too much affection to people you don't know, cause it might hurt you. (On the other hand... if you like it, make wise decisions..)
