When my roommate was feeling sick. Drove him to urgent care. They rested him. Untill the results came back. We all stayed in and waited. No going out for a week. That's what civic duty should look like. Or if you do go out wear a mask and be extra careful to limit contact with others.

@@Moe-716 Mary waited in until the results came back. That happened to take a week. That is both responsible and correct. If her friend's results came back negative and both she and friend were feeling well then she's free to get on with life. If they came back positive then yes, her isolation would be extended.

In Australian, you get tested with a wait of less than 30 minutes and get results in less th a n 24 hours. Its not hard. This is normal in developed countries other than the US.

Here in Scotland we had 17 new cases yesterday and no deaths. The wearing of facemasks in shops and public transport is mandatory. I cannot understand the reluctance in some Americans to wear one. It's such a simple thing to do and If it saves even just one life, surely it's worth it.

In 2013, this woman, who worked for Council on Foreign Relations, talked about Dan Brown's book "Inferno" as nonsense and said there's no chance of a pandemic. She did the same for the movie "Contagion." Then she wrote books called "The Coming Plague" and "Betrayal of Trust". WTF?

Here in Germany (and other countries as well) we have this Corona App. It traces your contacts for 14 days into the past and if one gets tested positive you get an alarm or if you yourself test positive your contacts are alarmed. This of course does not substitute contact tracing, but it covers parts of it.
