Either this child is lying to protect her mother, or Laurie Shaver is the dumbest person alive. If the child actually killed her father while defending her mother from his attack, Laurie should have called police immediately and told them exactly what happened. There would have been ample evidence, such as gun powder residue on the child's hands. There is no way a child of 7 would have been imprisoned if events had unfolded the way they now claim. She probably would have had court ordered therapy or something, and this would have been resolved years ago.

I can attest to this happening. False memories can be planted in a child. My youngest daughter believes im the worst mother on the planet, because her father and her grandmother got her to believe i was the one who did bad things.I kicked her father out when she about 2. He is an abusive, alcoholic, narcissist. I suffer from cptsd. He even kicked me down the stairs when i was 7 months pregnant with her. He did not get much visitation for a few years and i let her make the choice. I did not want her to resent me for keeping her father away when he had done nothing to her, that i knew of at the time. He never paid me a dime in child support, I even supported him for many years, bought everything for her. As she got older he kept a job here and there and would buy her things i said no to. So he became her fav person. He bought her and messed with her head. She has very little good memories of me she says. She is now 19. When she speaks to me at times, i know those words come from his narcissistic gaslighting mouth. She now seems to lack empathy or compassion. I nearly died from covid and its like a switch flipped in her. She suddenly started being extremely nasty to me. I tried to get emergency mental help for her, as we suspected she may have been developing BPD. The child phycologist flatley refused to even see her. Then she ran away at 16 for a year and came back home after her boyfriend kicked her out. She brought 2 cats. Then 2 years ago i was diagnosed with lung cancer and lost part of my lung. She could care less. When i came home from the hospital, she had let her cats pee all over the house and i had to live in my bedroom while i recovered. Her 2 older sisters would atest i spoiled her and babied her. I was making more money after she was born, so she got more than her sisters did as kids. She also had some physical issues when she was younger. I did everything for her, then when i got sick i was not able to do as much and her father convinced her it was because i did not care and just neglected her and i was just a big faker. I chose a no win. She was going to hate me for not allowing her to know him or hate me because hes abuser. Instead she turned into him. The biggest mistake was to allow him to stay in her life and put up with how he treated me when he came around. I wish i could go back and do it over. So yes i know personally, how a child can be manipulated. Sorry for the book.

I had to do excersies to stretch my fingers to play classical guitar music I was younger than 7yrs plus I did alot of manual work from 6yrs on family dairy cattle farm (we didn't have big sheds, parlour in the 1970s small sheds where pitch forks shovels, buckets, old fashion hay bales - cowshed with pipe line). My father had a very short temper, always in fear - mother was narcissistic high IQ diagnosed at 80yrs personality disorder. Everything is telling me Laurie is narcissistic, coached daughter- I really don't believe Mike ever touched her. She shot him in back of head - you need to be good shooter. Follow the money. The daughter tells the EXACT same story her mother told, including info about the neighbor the girl met one time at probably age 5, the dad’s friend, etc. Very very telling. The mother is a disgusting murderer who is “framing” her daughter because no DA would have prosecuted her at age 7. Mommie Dearest started weaving the story long before Daddy showed up under the concrete fireplace. I don’t believe the daughter’s story even 10%, and I don’t believe the mother at all. Kids raised in an abusive home aren’t like other kids. Often times teachers don’t notice a child is in a horribly abusive home. The dad had guns and raised his young kids to shoot. Nothing in this family is normal. I don’t believe Jeremy can’t do any job. Jeremy is protecting his relationship with his current wife. He cheated. Hell he followed the family around several grocery stores. He isn’t innocent. Kids do things to protect their families. Look at kids who are sexually assaulted by pillars of the community.

@zxy78267Ай бұрын
My dad taught me how to shoot when I was seven. He started teaching me about gun safety a couple of years before that. He had a lifetime membership to the NRA. Guns were very common in the rural area where I grew up. We know that the father had guns. It's not implausible. I was tall for my age and I've always had long fingers, so I can't say that it's impossible that she did it. I have questions, but I think they did too much prep for her, so that it was almost like taking an oral test. She talked really fast which means she was nervous. People said that she was fake crying. I think it's a horrible and traumatic experience to have to rehash in front of people and knowing that it's televised. I think she was trying really hard not to cry, and it's been several years, basically half of her lifetime ago. I will not judge a child. It's a completely different situation than when an adult cries.

I was prepared to believe this poor abused child's story but this is clearly a rehearsed and memorized story. First off, she speeds through it trying to make sure to hit all the points. She tells it likes it bulletin point to bulletin point. More importantly though... it's her voice. You can clearly tell when she stops adding emotion to her voice and then ramps up to bring it back in for the major parts. But when she starts talking, the emotion goes away. It isn't her fault, I grew up in a similar type of household when it came to being coached. But it is definitely not the truth. Mom should spend a lot of time in prison just for this mental and emotional abuse. Just look at how she talks about her father in the start. Poor thing has been given such a hateful view of her father. He may not have been a good man, or the best man... but nobody deserves that.
