Today, I´m going to show you, how to make lavaş (lavash) at home. This bread magically puffs up like a balloon in the oven and it´s a lot of fun to make it. Serve it piping hot as an appetizer accompanied by goat cheese, butter or kebab meals.
Ingredients for 5 Lavash Bread:
1/2 cup (125 ml) lukewarm water + additional 1 - 2 tbsp if necessary
1/2 cup (125 ml) yogurt (room temperature)
3 cups (420 gr) all-purpose flour
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp dry yeast
1 - 1,5 tsp salt
1 tsp sesame seeds
1/4 tsp nigella seeds
