FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!! Someone speaks the truth about Key and Peele being able to be Black, but not street or hood as a requirement to be accepted by our own people. It's the same shit I didn't understand about Lord Jamar saying "corny" Black dudes from the hood get to go to College while the "Alpha Male" real dudes were sent to prison, and that was a problem. WTF? So hood is better, despite us all being Black? If you are from the hood and smart and aspire to be better than your environment, other Black people question your Blackness and want to tear you down. GTFOH. Number one issues amongst Black people well before anything White people do to us, and it's this ignorant bullshit. Key and Peele has some classic funny skits, the same way Def Comedy Jam did too. How do u think that black folls got that way. We didnt start out fractured & skewered. There was some serious thought & planning put into creating this kind of mindset & more. And it was done so well that 99% of us will never see, understand or realize that this a *learned*, unnatural behavior based on purposeful, well crafted psychological, emotional, mental, political, financial & physical manipulation. Something that u guys that are fed up with this could do is- instead of trying so hard to blot the rest of our community out - first reconnect with our ancestors & they're way of existing. The ancestors that existed before things like colonization, slavery, rape, torture, genocide(not only of ppl but of their culture all the way down to the mundane aspects of daily life-including spirituality). Instead of huffing & puffing, step back & look at the bigger picture, that will help u understand why things are the way that they are & hopefully help the folks on ur side cross that divide to the group that u have issue with. Then YOU can help them also reconnect with who we were before literally our whole existence was hijacked. But be careful, doing something like that can lead to a thing called black unity. And wouldnt that be awful. United we stand, divided we have fallen HARD. We are light years from united. Which is exactly the plan, working better than ever. Be smarter than that. Dont help them anymore.😐

It's a shame that Key and Peele get so much hate from black people. We should just celebrate the success of any black person who is lucky enough to make it. As a black man, it's really frustrating to see the "infighting." Everyone doesn't have to be in between convictions to deserve black respect. Are Key and Peele more "suburban" black than "inner city" black? Sure. But guess what - there are plenty of suburban black folk in America. Should they all get disowned from the community? You better believe that no matter how Key and Peele act they still get looked at as black when they walk down the street, so they're still in the club.

And this is why you don't do vlads show. Aries spears wasn't hating on key and peele. He even called hem talented and very nice and polite. All Aries was doing was giving the perspective from black people on how they view key and peele, which is interesting and shows a dichotomy of views with what is accepted as favored black comedy over not usually favored black comedy. Dj vlad didn't stop lavell Crawford in his tracks and tell him what Aries really said or that Aries didn't mean any malice or hate in his statements. And this is how vlad manufactures beefs and will get another comedian to gang up on Aries by juxtaposing these videos together after he asks some questions and poses it as Aries hating, and then create an Aries spears vs the comedy world narrative. This is why you're a culture vulture vlad. You know what Aries spears meant and you choose to do this foolery. And you wonder why you were butthurt when lord jamar called you a culture vulture.

Key & Peele are hella talented. I think what it is with them is black ppl weren't into them at first. the only times I ever heard them ever brought up to me was through my white friends, SAME with dave chappelle. but dave was conscious of his majority white audience & mad the conscious effort (like Chris Rock once he left SNL) to have his standup gear towards black ppl. thats when black ppl started rocking with Dave as well. I always felt for a long time, Key & Peele never really did that or just didn't know how or were just trying to appeal to every audience of every demo, which is fine. I would notice that black friends that I knew from the hood were into Chappelle & than Kat Williams whereas black friends that I knew who went to majority white schools (like myself) had heard of Key & Peele through white kids lol. I would say bc of that movie "Get Out" a majority of black ppl from across the board, are into Jordan Peele bc thats the first conscious effort he has made (on a large scale) something to appeal to mainly black ppl

Trevor Noah is funny if you like having a person from a country with multiple issues (humanitarian AND otherwise) telling you how stupid and shitty your country is. If your into that, yeah he's funny. I'm not into that, so not funny. Biggest problem some blacks have is seeing other blacks succeed. The first thing attacked is "how black" they are. You want a litmus test, ask the KKK if they are black enough, you're guaranteed to be shown as being racist or picky yourself when compared to that, because they will tell you that they are all black. Though I have to agree, Obama was a good comedian. His term was a good joke. What's even more funny is that Trump is less of a joke than him, a surprise for us all. Lavell Crawford always was a talented and funny man & he should of had way more success and as far as Key & Peele go - they are very funny plain and simple.

I grew up in both hood and suburb areas and key and peele is the funniest show since Chapelles show. and how did they "steal" the skit idea...thats like saying Dave "stole" it from SnL

its a unique style of comedy. I like what they put out because they aren't from the hood so the perception they view is funny. example look up key and peele offended gay skit. its funny because they are talking about perception not so much yea i like big ass booties and smoke this. they fit for the black people who maybe nerds or geeks or in a suburban area.

Now I will admit their movie "Keanu" was funny. Some of their skits on Comedy Central were entertaining, but was a lackluster at times. Key & Peele will take time in order to appease other viewers outside of mainstream media. As for Lavell bringing up facts about Aries Spears, then he's right. All he is known for is the impression of black celebrities. He is stuck in the box and cannot escape. Look at Pee Wee Herman. Stay woke.

Dawg people can't be open minded for this comedy duo their show in my opinion was very good you take inspiration from where you grow up and that's how their comedy turned out and if they tried to have that hood type comedy people would call them posers...we see how good in acting and directing they both are man if you don't like the show cause it's not your type that's understandable but if you just don't like it cause of some stuff that has nothing to do with it then check your disliking
