Sad that it's only about Solas, devs be really pushing Solavellan romance on gamers. Other romances get nothing but a letter in the codex, a final fck you after dismissing the rest of the choices from previous games.

Solas/Rook should have also been an option. It was a missed opportunity with the dev team. Rook and Solas have great chemistry with their chats and …just overall. But yeah, I get it, this is wrapping things up and the writers were being too safe with everything. HR in the room indeed.

They never have returning characters be romance options. I’m sure lots of people would have wanted leliana or Morrigan in inquisition as an option.

@@Blurgamer17 They meant returning romances. If character is romancable in one DA game, they will never be romancable in another ever again. At best they might have a non binding hook up on non romanced world state, like Zevran had in DA II.

You can't. There are a few endings, but they're all about preserving the world as is

I'm not even a Solas shipper, but I would just like to have the chance to make more major choices, for the game to make me feel like I can genuinely have an impact on the world. But I guess it would be hard to make a sequel if people's worldstates had such drastic differences

Can you share in anyway your custom preset for this 2 characters? I don't want to make a copy but your custom preset would be a lot better to start as a base than those in the game. Thank you! They did the inquisitor soo dirty in this game... such a useless character and at no point did they wear any kind of armor 💀. It would have made so much more sense to play as the inquisitor in veilguard than as the very bland and overly nice rook.

The inquisitior couldn't be the protagonist due to the inquisition questionable reputation ferelden saw it as a threat and orlais saw it as a useful tool. Also let's not forget their ties to the divine, solas, Rainer, iron bull also doesn't make this group trust worthy

you get a letter from whoever your inquisitor romanced and also endgame sppilers ahead: dorian mentioned whoever the inquisitor romanced in a short convo with them. i'm assuming there's also mention between the two of them if you romanced him.
