These last 2 days I've been struggling with overthinking and negative thoughts, I became so hopless.. didn't know what to do with my life or where to go.. I was really lost... no matter how many acheivments I'll have, they don't fulfill me.. my high expectations made me hopless, I felt like no matter what I do, how much I try.. I won't feel fulfilled anyways.. I was just so tired that I didn't want to live any longer... many insecurities.. many fears.. many negative thoughts.. I couldn't take them anymore.. I hated myself, looked down on myself and felt like I'm useless being here in this world... I've been staying in my room locking the door for 2 days... the only thing I did was crying, sleeping..... idk why it was so hard but I just couldn't control my thoughts anymore, I truly just wanted to die... and till now.. I'm still on my bed lying down here and my door is locked... I just woke up opened youtube and saw this video on the top so I opened and watched till the end... This video made me remember all those times when I felt worthy, when I felt comfortable being on my own, when I told myself how beautiful I was and how I loved myself.... I can start again.. It's not the end.. I've been watching both of your channels for years and it truly helped me in many ways but I can say this video could stop me from commiting sucide.. reminded me of how to love myself again and keep going... Thank you

I struggle with listening to my inner voice and gut. I have only recently learned to go with my gut and trust myself. I literally have been living life on autopilot, listening to what my parents, peers, and adults tell me but I have realized i have to make my own decisions. This is super hard since my entire life, I literally never made a decision on my own so it's hard to trust myself. However, I'm really hopeful to finally get to a point where I can listen to my gut.

One thing I do is to write down everything I desire, everything I prefer from a car to a job. It helps me hone who I am, what I want out of life, etc. So when my mom or someone else says something that doesn’t match up with that, I just chuckle to myself. And I’m not a teenager. I’m old.

I really want to listen to my heart and go where it wants me to go but there are people in my life who control it, make me question it which ultimately makes me afraid of what if I’d fail at it and at last those people would criticise me or give unnecessary taunts for following my heart which would otherwise break me as a person too.

Your advices are so difficult to do with depression... looking in is already painful, but seeing nothing, , even if people say it's not true, it seems so hard to practice self love. I hope everyone with and without depression will find their path in life. Accepting who we are with our sickness is a challenge that really seem impossible to do.

I'm 24 and you are so right! I only started listening to my own inner voice and stopped letting society, family and other people dictate my life. It's tough because there will be a lot of criticisms. I'm only trying to understand who I am, what my gifts are and my quirks that I love about me. It's time ,I guess ,to start focusing on myself and reach for my dreams! I might lose a lot of people along the way but that's what it takes for self growth, healing and choosing your own path. the quotes "change your expectations to appreciation" and "What I see in others, I also see my self" are my favourite takes in the video! Thank you! I wish I had you as my older sister, life would've been much better.

I've just started watching and relate so much to your first point. It really is important to listen to your own voice, but it's not always easy 😫 please make a video on how you made that leap, if you can ❤

Wow! What a gem!! Going to put it into practice. Great self love actions. Excited to find myself and be more loving to myself. I’m ready to rid myself of the need to get approval from others and think of me. So grateful I found your channel. 🥰🥰

Self love is the most important thing to give yourself this 2021. No one will love you more than you love yourself. When you understand this, you will definitely have inner peace ❤❤❤❤❤

I’m very self-critical and harsh on myself, that freezes me lot of times and I can’t function on my everyday life (collage, relationships etc) so I’m searching through your videos to find the courage and change for better❤️

Love the honesty in this comment and we can totally relate! One thing that really made me (Rach) happier was changing my internal dialogue with myself! We just posted a video about it on our KZbin channel, would love for you to check it out since you seem like such a kind and likeminded person ☺️💛Really hope it helps!!!

The biggest one for me is to trust yourself and not look for validation from outside sources. I was sexually assaulted this summer and I really struggled when my “friends” didn’t react the way I thought they should. It made me doubt myself and actually doubt the entire situation. But I know what happened. I have a right to feel however I feel about it and looking for other people to tell me my feelings are correct doesn’t solve anything. It’s made me stronger to shift my mindset like this.

Hi dear Aileen. It has been about 2-3 years since I last listened to you. Those days, you were amazing too that is undeniable but the moment I opened this video I thought, wow she really changed. Your hair looks so good here sure but I mean I can hear the confidence in your voice and seeing how much you improved over these years, you gave me inspiration and many others as well. I am so proud of you as you are proud of yourself💞

Totally agree, gratitude is one of the most transformational habits that we have adopted recently! Another thing that really made us happier was to change our negative self talk to a more positive internal language! We just posted a video about it on our KZbin channel, would love for you to check it out since you seem like such a likeminded person ☺️💛
