Basic strategy says to ALWAYS double down on 11 even if the dealer is showing an Ace... Doesn't matter if it's a 6 deck shoe or single deck... I've been dealing blackjack for 19 years on the Indian reservations here in Southern California... I promise I would never lead you guys astray... Remember I work for tips so im on the players side ALWAYS!... We are unique here in California because we get to keep our own tips... None of that tip "pooling" nonsense... So we REALLY love it when the players WIN!!! 😉 We do what's called a "rubber band" rotation where we switch up to different tables after every break so we never deal the same string of tables twice or are only assigned to just ONE table for our entire shift like Vegas dealers are... That's how we make it fair for all of us and it eliminates favoritism... It's awesome!

I think you need to increase your bets sometime. You keep betting about 300-1000 per hand. Sometimes you need to increase your bet up to 3000 per hand. The more time you spent , the more money you lose homie.

If you want to tip the dealer, do it at the end of a winning session. Playing for the dealer during play gives you no advantages. Additionally, the outcome of each hand has absolutely nothing to do with a smiling dealer. The house has the edge, don’t increase it by placing bets with the dealer.

Very wrong, players don’t play for the dealer to get an advantage, it’s their way of showing appreciation for a good streak or just because. It’s also cheaper to play for the dealer since winning the hand wins the dealer double and that money comes from the house 🤷🏻‍♂️

Only thing I heard you say wrong, you said theoretically ouy don't double 11 vs an ACE, 7-4 vs Ace is always a double. When the dealer checks and has no blackjack the best they could have is 20 with a 9 under. You treat it as such and still double. Plus, if the dealer has no 10 then your odds of getting a 10 increase.

Him playing by the book he’s read doesn’t seem strategic whatsoever. Sometimes it’s good to stand where you think you should hit because they don’t always have the high card. When playing only one hand the shoe isn’t getting spread as much so all the a lot of lows come out in a row.

I never said players play for the dealer to get an advantage. The outcome of any hand has nothing to do with who’s dealing. Placing a bet for the dealer because you appreciate a good streak is a losing strategy. That bet is worth nothing because you lose immediately, even if the hand wins. You are probably a dealer who enjoys players who waste money on side bets.
