I just purchased this kit... I am so excited and looking forwarded to getting it. I did not see the rectangle frame on the website...do you still offer it?

Hi, the current version of the kit has been available since 2019 and comes with a hoop to put it in. We do not carry the frames anymore. If you prefer to frame your picture, I recommend getting a frame you like first. One that has a backer board. Then, cut the fabric in the kit about 1 in. larger than the backer board (all the way around) so that it will wrap around to the back of the backer board and you can glue it there when you are finished. Then make the picture, making slight adjustments so that it will fit the new size and shape of the fabric.

great tutorial! Many thanks. I've purchased a teeny landscape to do for my dad for Xmas, and I've been too nervous to start it! I feel much more confident now. I also would have poked the heck out of it - knowing I want dimension, and puff to the piece, will make it much nicer. (very helpful for you to turn the piece so we could see your trees and lavender puffed up.) :)

Can you use a needle machine felter with you designs?

I have never tried it. I think it would be possible, at least for laying in part of the wool, particularly larger background pieces. My artwork is better suited to felting by hand, but I think it would be worth playing around with a machine felter. I just can't really say for sure how pleased you'd be with the result.
