Beautiful! I was wondering if it is possible to use a regular A4 sheet of felt (acrylic felt) as the base instead of pre-felt, or if it must be pure wool? Thank you

Hello, sorry for the late reply. A sheet of felt should work, though maybe not quite as well. If you do not have prefelt, I would recommend buying a wool sweater from a thrift shop, felting it on purpose (put it through washing machine on hot with soap, and through the dryer). Then, cut the sweater felt to use in place of prefelt. That will be the most similar to prefelt.
