Got a sample of infused honey from a farmers market and tried it with the morning tea. For some reason I never considered infused honey could be an open ended label and thought it was honey that had been cooked, mixed with other honey, or something like that. It was infused with habanero and all of it had floated to the top. I'm not a fan of spice and I was lead here on a quest to find out what the fresh hell infused honey was.

Hi, Couldn't you add a few drops of doTerra lavendar oil & get the same result and taste. Saves the step of having to strain out the particles.

Should be no problem. I know that some people use lavender oil to soothe skin or bug bites.

Can you use fresh lavender or is it better to use dried or dehydrated?

Not sure how fresh would do. We used a dried variety that is meant to be used with cooking
