We had more flowers last years it turns out, I think the harsh spring this year was too hard on them. Hopefully next year will bring more flowers!

I read "somewhere " to propagate lavender you should take cuttings from new growth stems in the spring! Try to find article, if i saved it!!! Can't wait to see how the different methods turn out! Thought ur first video was just fine! Thanks for ur knowledge & time.

Thanks, Ill try that next spring. The first video had a blank screen for a portion that looked worse the first time I watched it. I'm bummed some great comments were lost :(

Beautiful. Here in Indiana only a few will grow well here in our zone 5 .

I am in zone 4 here in Minnesota, but they can survive the winter. This year only 3 plants made it though :(

Give it a Grow . Yeah I’m disappointed too. I tried to save money by buying smaller starters and I think I should have bought larger ones 🙄. I wish you blessings . Us lavenders shouldn’t give up lol . take care

I can almost smell the lavender when you were pruning them.

Thank you. It's amazing to see how grown the lavender could get.

It can easily become overgrown and can collapse in a big woody heap, lol.

Hi There, thanks for the video. Which method ended up working best for you?
@GiveitaGrow6 жыл бұрын
The water cuttings were the only ones that survived long enough to produce roots, but I bet they would all work because I might have forgotten to water them a few times.

Can we grow lavender from the seeds that we harvested
@GiveitaGrow5 жыл бұрын
Yes! That is how I grew these plants
@GunnerHillTX4 жыл бұрын
Just bear in mind that, unlike cuttings (which are basically clones of the original) plants grown from seeds may be very different in size, shape, color, you name it.

Hi Did lavendar water propagation work? Thanks
@GiveitaGrow4 жыл бұрын
One did root yes, the ones in water did the best.

Mine has never flowered, am I harvesting too early?
@GiveitaGrow4 жыл бұрын
It is good to prune lavender, but that does set back the flowers sometimes, especially if they were close to blooming. I would try fertilizing when you water to see if that helps.

For your cuttings, attempt to cut at a diagonal instead of straight on
@GiveitaGrow5 жыл бұрын
I will try that, thanks.
@reneedegrazio75435 жыл бұрын
Try dipping in honey...along with diagonal cuts..and take off even more leaves, as the energy needs to go to the roots.. you can also cut off the tops a couple inches. ..also, cut into your semi hardwood stems instead of the fresh stems🌱💜 Great video & happy growing🤗

Lavenders grow in very nice round shape. Your lavender looks deformed probably because you prune it every year.
@GiveitaGrow5 жыл бұрын
Mine don't get enough sun, so they lean to one side and would look like a vine if I didnt prune them.
