I am 53 but I'd love to be your apprentice. My work isn't cheap however you wouldn't need to pay me because the knowledge I could gather is certainly priceless. In fact you probably would have to drag me out of the shop every night.... What you do isn't work, it's art, and it certainly deserves that this beautiful tradition and your skills are preserved for future generations. The world we live in right now is mostly superficial and that makes your efforts so special. Thank you for outstanding entertainment 🙏🏍👍

Hello Andree, I am 70 years old and I would love to have an apprentice like you😊. How many times in our professional career have we achieved great goals, even of great merit, but that with the passage of time disappear into smoke. Instead, this is physical, you can see it and touch it. It is very rewarding. My grandchildren will always say, this bike was made by grandpa. A pleasure friend and thank you for your note.

Not so sure about that. I just had my '71 SF out today for a good romp through the Rockies with the local Norton club. I've owned it for over 20 years, original wiring loom has not given any trouble. I did have problem once with poor connections in the fuse box but a touch of emery cloth cured it.

Complimenti! Ottimo restauro! Comunque magnifica!
@carlovergnano2493 Жыл бұрын
Buongiorno a Lei dall'Olanda.

Hello, thinking about buying 750SF but extreme left hand warning light lit at idle, it’s marked oil but clocks have been refurbished and maybe new face, other bikes have this marked as GEN , it pulses like generator light but can you tell me please do these bikes even have an oil lamp normally ? No worried about generator but am if it’s oil pressure.
@LoscarMotorcycles3 жыл бұрын
The first bicycles had Smiths watches without oil light. Later they switched to the Nipon Denso instruments, which are the same as the 500 Honda Four and since there is no oil sensor the light is useless. Simple as that 😕. On all my British motorcycles, I always put the sensor on the light for safety. When I did the wiring I realized that there was no pressure sensor and I think its installation is complicated. If they always worked like this, that is not an impediment to buy the SF😊✌ Best wishes. Loscar
