Love it !!!! I am trans and have been out in public since 1959 (yeah, I know I am ancient , 83 now). We are such a small percentage of the population , but unfortunately very easy to attack. I am a Canadian and have been active in the T community all my life Spoken publicly many times, including being asked by the RCMP (Mounties) to address them. Right? I'm a trans person who had top surgery in 2021 and the process from start to my surgery date took a year (after 4 years of knowing I wanted it without a doubt) -- with all the paperwork and meeting with a therapist to approve me, etc. If ONLY it was anywhere near as easy as that. Not to mention they clearly have no idea what entailed trans Healthcare because they think its one surgery. There are a dozen different surgeries and different types of them that are chosen between depending what's best for the person (if they can even afford/access it.) Not to mention they seem to always forget that trans men/trans masculine people like myself exist.

I started my transition in 2016, and there seems to be a huge uptick when pumpkinhead got in there. Not to mention getting surgeries in school would be "free healthcare", which repubs are TOTALLY against; let alone that the schools can't even afford chalk. The teachers have to buy it because the govt has gotten so stingy over what is considered "necessary", like food.

I think it is because they are incapable of empathy for things that did not affect them personally or a loved one and all of them have the old ego wound of doing poorly in sports. They can’t conceive of how hard coming out with SA allegations against a powerful person is, how soul crushing oppressive systemic racism is, or even emphasize with straight white women dying due to a late miscarriage and state mandated lack of medical care. They probably don’t think trans people suffer at all really and personally would do lots of things they thought was underhanded to win. Which makes the lie believable to them. Also the men like to imagine they are always just naturally better at athletics than any woman because of their birth regardless of practice. It is the one domain left where they haven’t been drastically disillusioned of their assumed superiority. Irrational as it has always been until recently they claimed the domains of intelligence and leadership in the same way.
