Great quality footage + really nice editing job = 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 It is also great that you included the more complete footage of her Floor win, providing evidence of the crowd's favor and their enthusiastic response to her having been awarded a 10. Unfortunately, this is a controversial 10 because the 10 being called "The Perfect 10", while the prevailing vernacular, is not truly about perfection - it is about ordering and/or ranking and/or excellence and is also contextual. Also, contemporary and younger viewers superimpose today's standards for E (execution) scores against ALL previous routines without realizing the historical differences, context, or politics. By today's standards, there NEVER would have been a 10. But 10s are historical and there were excellent reasons for them having been awarded. They literally helped bring the sport to greater popularity. Nadia Comaneci's 10s had a truly immeasurable impact not only on the sport of gymnastics, but on the wider popular culture, at large, and, while not as overall decorated as Larisa Latynina or Simone Biles or perhaps a select very small handful of others, Comaneci's impact on the sport remains probably the very most influential among all gymnasts. Milosovici's 10 (and overall place in the sporting record) is also very historically important for a number of reasons. I have hope and have good reason to hope that, one day, Milosovici's importance, and what she symbolizes, will be reconsidered and greatly amplified. This video could help with that as it, in under 10 minutes, does an excellent job of illustrating her excellence and virtuosity. Thank you so much for this.

i'd LOVE to know what gymnasts from previous generations think / feel when seeing what is done today on the equipment that now exists. Are they "envious" in that it was just impossible for them to do then what could be done today ... do they 'feel' the movements in their bodies if they watch gymnasts like Simone perform the skills she does? does it scare the heck out of them to see what can be done? id love to ask so many questions!

To be honest, not very likely. The stuff they did for their time was equally as risky, wild and potentially dangerous as today. The vault in particular was much less safe than today with the old horse. Envious? No. Impressed? Most likely.

She was the best! Keep dremaing other nations be like our gumnast!. Hate and envy are real monsters do they, other can only cheat and steal but the talent is in our blood!😂😂. Even the youtube writing make me do mistake 😂😂😂

The last ever imperfect ten ever awarded. She was fun to watch most of the time but there were definitely times she got the benefit of the doubt from the judges (that beam routine for example). I always felt she was very unlucky in AA competition though… so many untimely errors.

She won beam the year she did since everyone else in the final screwed up or had a low start value. The only one close was Dawes but she had only a 9.9 start value, major form issues, and hops on the dismount, which were too much to overcome Milos 10 start value with a stuck landing, despite it being a less exciting and interesting routine. Gogean won the bronze with only a 9.8 start value that year, and top contenders like Miller, Li Li, Xuemei had huge errors, some of them falls. I don't think she got helped by the judges there, it just was a bad final and she took advantage to win gold on her worst event.
