Yep I definitely fall in that category, especially if we're going to some event . I spend more time messing with the hair than I need to but I get some reassurance from my wife that it looks fine and I'm to fussy.

Good luck with your surgery. Thank you so much for this! I think you're also alluding to a certain kind of mild OCD, or Social Anxiety. We have to apply critical thinking to all this. By the way, you helped me with my decision to get a system, and I've been very happy with it. Still not doing maintenance myself (I gotta work up to that more) but your videos helped SO much when I finally made it into the salon. I just wish I had used your discount code yesterday when I ordered a new Lavivid system and I forgot! I had ordered a custom system for $449 and the color was actually too dark, but it was not returnable, but they offered to sell me a new custom system for the price of a regular one at $329, in the correct color now (I bought the color wheel before), so that's on order. My only complaint with a French lace (all) system is that I need the Ghost Platinum Supreme (strongest) for hold, and I still get some front hairline lift and I'm not that great at retouching. I love my service appointments at the salon but they are expensive in Los Angeles.

Thanks for your kind words mate. Operation was a success! Just in a lot of pain now. Agreed re: OCD / Social Anxiety. I still have OCD aspects now, and although officially undiagnosed at this point, all my family members are convinced I have ADHD. Regarding doing touch ups, have you considered Ultra Hold Glue? I’m not a massive fan of it due to one of the chemicals being flammable. However, you should get a 2-3 week hold out of it!

Well done my friend. Nobody pays as much attention to your hair as you do. As long as density and color is correct, no one will ever know. Don’t be chained to a mirror or check it every time you are in front of a mirror. That is more of a bondage than being bald and thinking everyone notices you are bald. Go for a stroll in your grocery store, mall, or public area and think about how many people you encounter. You will not notice every persons hair color, style, or haircut. Neither do they you. So walk in confidence you have hair again and enjoy that self confidence. Enjoy the compliments. An encouraging thing happened to me yesterday. Was at a local gas station I refuel at regularly. The manager is friendly with me and knows I’ve been bald for a longtime. She told me I looked so good now she wondered how my wife lets me out of the house now.😂

You are correct - however the main thing is make sure not to have your hairline too low down. The reason your system looks so good even though the hairline graduation could be better is that it's at the proper height - looking good!

Great vid. However no one seems to do videos on the BACK of the unit. How to blend it in so its not obvious. When your natural hair grows and when the colour changes etc.

When the colour changes it’s best to use a colour depositing conditioner like Back2Natural. I wouldn’t recommend blending it yourself - best to go to a hair system stylist (or at worst a barber) who should be able to blend you system with your natural hair

Watched this out of general interest. I am sorry for anyone who feels inferior or thinks being bald is a 'problem'. Please just accept yourself. You will always know you are pretending, so will many other people. Just be you, the real you. Your real confidence comes from being the real version of you.

Yup I've done that a few times...but lift the hair up an spray it with a touch up....once I nearly tore the system after a terrible refit...if the hair goes down now I just leave it...its not worth the agg

I've been a hair system wearer for about 10months now...an last week I thought I would do a rebond an not shave my head.. just to see what would happen an how it would feel...as you're mentioned at first you worry about can people tell if it's real or not...but moving on I personally have started to relax...all my friends/ family no about it

Hello, I'm thinking of a hair system. I would like a medium curly ear length for my small or peanut size head. I have a mixed curly and straight blend of natural hair but want to know since I wear my hair closely shaved ,would it be too drastic for the curly system ?

I think if someone wear a hair system and he fine with it the best solution for the hairline is to do a hair transplant to build new hairline and it can fix many problem.

Depends on the system. Lace frontals are more subtle than poly!

@HairSystemDIY I wear a hairsystem ,I've grown my hair so it can fit my original hair. My hair is black and I have kept it very long tied back. My brothers say it looks natural but I Don no how it looks myself.
