In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

For me, i use a mixture of hair oil ( a few drops) , water and conditioner, and pop it in a bottle spray. Hair moisture seems to retain a bit longer while keeping the hair nice and soft. Makes it easier to brush afterwards

This sounds a lot like what Chris L did ! He posted a video about this subject a couple months back. You guys did a video together a while back . Anyway , it seems to work for him as well . The no shampooing and only using anti frizz product.

Also try a product called "ghost mist" that stuff is da bomb. It definitely revitalizes the hair system when it seems dull and lifeless. Don't use it every day. Also I would like some info on a hybrid. I'm currently wearing a type of hybrid. It just has poly in the back, not on the front. Also I'm wearing a longer hair style ,having poly around the front would make life easy when it comes to cleaning the hairline

What about washing out the hair styling products? Are they water soluble , like the argan oil? I am getting my first System this week, and looking to take great care of it. I’ve bought the tangle teaser you mentioned and some other recommendations.

I'm wearing the system for a month now and I wash it every 5-7 days or so. I noticed it as well, that it doesn't really need to be washed, only moisturised. Do you use leave in conditioner daily?

I have a mirage from lavivid. It’s my second system and I’ve definitely made plenty of mistakes with it but I’m on month 10 with it right now. It’s absolutely not as nice as it was in the first few months, but I can still style it well enough to have a really good look and pull girls. A girl literally just left me house after staying over (3rd date) and she has no idea.

I also wash every 5/6 days and I've realized baby shampoo is the best option. Conditioner makes the hair heavy and greasy so I stopped using it.

i never wash my system, only when i go to maintenance once every 10-14 days, it gets bad usually around day 8 but my hair is pretty long so it just looks natural and messy, i dont wash it because you cannot avoid some water getting under it, and i have to blow dry and straighten it after washing which is VERY harsh to the system
