Like they've all been real good on the business side of things and are good going about there personal life and keeping bad thoughts out of the public eye. Very powerful stuff, hardly any controversies. Most people base there whole career on stuff like clout chasing. It's always only been about the music for Kendrick.

And what most people have to understand that everything you do you have to do it as if it’s a business. And another case there was a woman that was working for a law firm and lost her job because she was videotaped tweaking at a wedding and that was posted on Facebook. Although the music industry is different it is better to move in silence and mysterious. I think he has played his hand well.

Kendrick has never hid his dark side. His own music portrays both his good and dark side. 90% of what we know about Kendrick is what he has revealed to the world himself. What i don't like about this video is that you're portraying him as some sort of scammer who has tricked the public into thinking that he is a saint while in reality he uses other people to do his dirty work.

This shows the guys own implicit bias and possible racism/classism Like to elaborate if you’re a professional writer you should know these language tropes particularly if you’re writing about black people consistently. Otherwise I’m gonna think you’re uneducated or you are aware and being racist. Like I’m not saying it’s the worst thing but it’s for sure something that a person would feel pretty disrespected by.

It’s also the reason why he won’t move the culture: he’s nominally boring. If you’re going to be perfect, you still need some excitement/something visceral which moves people from a primeval perspective. Think jfk Obama Socrates, Confucius, Jesus… etc. High bar yes but Kendrick Lamar is arguably the best orator in music ever… and yet many hip hop fans don’t even know it’s his music when some of it comes on.
@--REGULAR--REGULAR11 ай бұрын
He's so skilled and creative that the culture isn't going to always understand what he's trying to accomplish. His goal since day one is to rap his ass off and challenge himself as well as the listeners. He's not into playing the music industry game of exploitation for fame and money. He would rather try his best to stand out. He just wants to make what he feels like making and say what isn't said often, while staying true to himself. If that is "boring" than the same could be said about rappers who do the opposite of what kendrick does. On top of that it is hard for Kendrick to not move culture when he is the culture. He's literally from and reps compton all the time.

GKMC and TPAB def changed how rappers make albums bro...sure kendrick didnt influence no drill or trap but who cares??? hes gonna be remembered for being a pure mc and selling millions at a time when lyricism was dead, he'll not only freestyle battle you but then go create an album on the level of Madvillany and illmatic...most rappers at that level are horrible at hooks and makin albums and songs..Canibus is lyrically my fav rapper ever but he cant make an album half as good as Kendrick...neither can Eminem...Em can rhyme all those syllables like a robot but he aint droppin albums like kendrick with throughout songs and top notch lyricism
