i'll admit...as a kid i was too hype for the animations that i just never granted myself enough literacy for the comics. so these archive compilations accurately represent my experience with watching these and having 0 context. i was so impressed and intrigued that i guess i just kinda preferred the mystery over the whole truth. but now that im older, im gonna try to say fck it and actually get the whole story XD because seriously... what's U-P's OCs' DEALS?? as a kid, it went over my head in the animation that clearly Karl and Climber know each other. what did i even think of CoN?? like what answers did I give myself?? to be fair, though, i love an unsolvable mystery more than a solvable one to this very day - i wonder if my refusal to read the comics was a result of that desire, or a habit which gave rise to it. hm... haha anyway thank you again op

I love to apply psychology to fictional characters. I saw that when he feels threatened (on some occasions) he comes to respond aggressively due to his unhealed trauma. In some part I don't understand why he likes to murder individuals who never hurt him and it's something I'm trying to figure out.

He also hates the theme park and Castle, so his goal is to be free of any energy sources that can tell him what to do and be fully independent. As to what he'd do with that independence, it's probably kill as many people as possible until someone eventually gets through his giant mental barrier caused by the Rachel Incident, but I could be wrong, who knows maybe he'd just be happy to hike or something lol.

The energy sources, (Castle, the Law of Talos) have all had their own agendas and things they want Karl to do, and he's sick of that. He just wants to be able to do his own thing and not be told what to do. So yeah enough constant energy for him to exist, although I'm sure he wouldn't complain about infinite energy, as in the in between animation comics (not the ones here, the ones in this video are ONLY THE COMICS THAT WERE IN THE FLASHES, there are a LOT more on UPs DA page), Karl is quite clear how much he enjoys randomly killing people, and specifically says he wants to ruin the plans of the humans to turn Taitle into a bustling city, and wants to make it a permanent ghost town, again, just for fun. This is also made clear on his character sheet (also on DA) which says he really enjoys watching his enemies fear and terror as they slowly die, so... just a lovable lil murder psycho

With a canon ending he got turned into a human thanks for the professor’s wish when he tried to resurrect Annie after Karl killed her. You need to read the comic by Professor Ginger & Annie’s creator for the canon ending.

Technically in the LoT cannon Karl is alive, and UPs last animation where he dies is not cannon- Annie uses the wishing machine to bring back everyone who died during the tournament and Karl is brought back as a human. However, UP says that this would kill Karl, so... it's up to who you want to go with! Also, regardless of the case, in UPs universe Karl is still alive at the theme park, and just didn't do the LoT thing. I mean there's currently no active development in that universe now, but, he is alive!

(also he's resin not concrete) And it's pretty easy to headcannon arma caught him before he hit the ground if you want too, the shattering noises could have been a bunch of him shattering that she couldn't catch, but I think muh boi is still alive and since UP hasn't released anything involving LoT Karl post final animation, NOTHING CAN ARGUE WITH ME OR PROVE ME WRONG AHAHAHA (aside from, you know, what appears to fairly obviously be the artistic intent but that can't be *proven*, Climber's full ending was a bit ambiguous as to his survival after his confrontation with Red and the Wolf and then he ends up showing up alive here, so who knows. UP is in most likelihood done with Karl, but there's no saying for sure he couldn't randomly return from working on popular animated movies and stuff and just be like "Hey y'all Karl lived" so who knows ^^)
