0:32 Saying either true or false is ok for statements or groups of statemens that are not inherently contradictory. But as an overall law encompassing any staement I think the correct dichotomy is "Every statement is either true or not true". That way we avoid paradoxes like "This statement is false" which are considered neither true nor false sometimes.

The bothersome detail is the Part II of this video on the Law has a date/time stamp earlier than the Part I.

Nice job; and no pontificating about a supposed "superiority" of constructivist methods! I am a mathematician and I have never heard a colleague take the position that because the square root of two raise to the same power is true or false , then it must be provable by contradiction, or whether it is provable at all for that matter! It is perfectly possible that pi raised to the e power is irrational but no method exist to prove it to be so. "Question not answerable" does not imply that a LEM position is invalid here.Godel established long ago that there are true mathematical statements that can't be proven to be true.

And I'm assuming, by definition, we cannot know/prove WHICH of those true statements can't be proved true?

Should be called an Axiom of the Excluded Middle. Not "law".

All true except obviously the speaker is not aware that the drop to the curve on a 24,901 mile circumference sphere is measurable as being 8 inche multiplied by the number of miles into the distance. Either the sphere will cause a physical obstruction according to this formula for finding the sphere edge which is measurable; Or it will not and then you know it is not a sphere. Law of excluded middle results in that the earth is not a globe.

Why am I relieved in 2021 that the speaker asserted that it is False that "the earth is flat"? I shouldn't have to worry about people knowing that, but now I do.
