Kelly Alves I don’t think it’s deliberate. Scenes are going to get cut every episode, it’s just the nature of network television when you also have to fit in time for commercials. It’s just that, whoever is working editing, is apparently not very good at their job and choosing what scenes to cut.

They also don’t shoot episodes in the chronological order that we see in season format. Some shows shoot the finale somewhere in the middle. Some directors and writers work better from end to the beginning. Knowing the end result of what they want helps them write and shoot around that

Lee Sharpe she’s been struggling with admitting her need for help. Remember in season 17 or 16, Benson gave her the exact same advice and then Amanda claimed she will before she take a relaxing vacation. She wasn’t ever to a psychiatrist and she seems to avoid it.

Really good scene. I can see why it was cut though. It wouldn't have fit in with the tone of the final couple minutes. If this were a two parter with Rollins facing IAB then it would have made sense. Love this show and Kelli's performance. 😍❤️

I wanted this to be Carisi at the door, but then I realized he might not know she's in GA. It needed to be someone who knows she'd be especially vulnerable to a relapse. In my head, Carisi wanted to go, but Fin stopped him and said he was going to go see her.

okay im late ( and currently diving head first into rollisi ),but picture this, Amanda has her head down on jesse's lap and she's repeating over and over "I love and I'm sorry" all while petting Frannie. She departures by kissing both of them on the head. She's anxious, ya know, blaming herself, more like torturing herself. In her head rings, "Amanda it's all on you. You killed her." She opens her laptop and immediately logs onto a past gambling website, but there's a knock at the door. She opens and it's Carisi and he calmly walks over, sees the computer and says "Amanda you can't go down this path again. I won't let you." Halfway through him saying this she callaspes into his arms, wailing and they fall to the ground. Carisi is holding her tight with a strong embrace and simply says "I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere ever. Let me help." Then he kisses the top of her head and he's stays there, the whole, just like he said he would. She just wants the pain to stop and he wants to be the cause of her relief. Now who would you really want Rollins to be in this scenario with, Finn or Carisi?
