In this video, I shared the time when I was feeling lost in life, but then I realised that I have to stop walking someone else's journey and follow my own path. I decided to move to the UK and pursue a legal career in London despite living in Hong Kong in the majority of my life. I eventually secured a training contract after a number of applications and rejections.

Hey Gordon! I can’t thank you enough for all that you are doing to motivate & help us in following our dreams. My situation to you is pretty similar in the sense that I too am an international LLB graduate who will be coming to the UK this September to pursue my masters because of my passion & love for corporate law in which I’ll be specialising. Your videos always motivate me to push myself beyond my comfort zone to achieve my dreams & I’m sure one day I will achieve it! Thanks a lot ❤️🙏

This video is right on time. I have always been jealous of people who had unfair advantages. The worst part is that, at some point, I blamed myself for it and it made me feel inferior. My law journey is taking so long already and I feel that I am getting older which results in fewer opportunities than usual or none at all. However, I feel that I am getting closer and I hope that I will make it one day. One step at a time. Great video, Gordon. Thank you!

Hey Gordon! Just wanna say thank you for creating this video. It helps me to think that I am not alone. Everyone has their own way in life journey. I am always jealous with people who had advantaged earlier. What I mean is that, some of them have the advanced skill or personality that people said "law student" should be like this etc, eg debate just because they learned during school which somehow helps them a lot. While me, stucking here as a new person. But, I believe nothing is impossible. It is just the time that differentiate us :) thanks a lot !! I am too overwhelmed with people's thought about me which makes me inferior. "Stop walking someone else's journey" :)!

I honestly just asked myself if I want this opportunity so badly. If yes, I know the cost of giving up is too high..
