Well it’s their own faults, they were caught committing crimes and then snitched on by other fellow criminals. That snitching after multiple crimes to where the cops & detectives were able to verify it by securing the evidence off cameras in the area, is what got them all caught up. Wuudy thought he was getting the heat off himself & wound up taking the entire organization down with him. Each one has testified they were absolutely operating as a gang under the YSL name. I'm a little surprised by this, since it looks like the whole trial is about to collapse, but I guess it makes sense. The murder charge is being dropped (it's crazy that there is a murder charge hidden in the middle of a RICO indictment - it's barely been mentioned so far in the trial). If the trial collapsed and they decided not to start again on RICO, they might still have retried the murder on its own. The fact that the prosecution was willing to drop a murder charge suggests they weren't confident of proving it, though...
