I wonder why this was a deleted scene? This was incredible acting and shows how small little things will trigger memories. Our sense of smell is the strongest sense we have, just one whiff can send a flood of memories back into the forefront of our minds; by recalling the scent of the flowers, it triggered an associated memory that was seared into some part of her mind, allowing her to remember and make the connection.

I'm so glad the pirated version I watched had these deleted scenes edited in, it made the episode so much better. this, of all the stories, needed the time to truly explain. this guest star's acting was absolutely phenomenal, probably the best in any episode so far.

Olivia is great and brave in all the episodes that she is in ,she will put her life in danger to save others from getting hurt or killed , she could of been a doctor cause she will keep you from passing away or trying to comitt suicide that's what you call a detective, thumbs up if you agree.

Olivia actually saved people from committing suicide I don't know how many but it definitely was the female victims

Nienke Galis if I don't make a mistake, it's that when she was a kid she loved to go in a room of the library and watch the dresses in books about french History (I'm not sure). She used to go there after her mom and her got a fight.

I've come across this clip once more a year later, and I just noticed something I missed before. When Olivia is gently coaxing her back inside the office, during the close-up at 2:30, you can see that they changed out the audio. Marishka's lips were moving, saying a line that had been cut out. I'm sure that it would've been edited differently had it not been cut from the episode.

In past episodes Olivia has shared about fights with her alcoholic mother. On one episode she told the story of when she, as a teenager, was going to marry one of her college professor mother's students she and her mother had a physical altercation. She kicked her mother hard in the stomach. Over the years she has shared she had an continuous acrimonious relationship with her mom.

I was never sexually hurt but I know how she feels about being angry and upset when you can't remember something that happened I don't remember most of my childhood up until 6th grade only 2 memories are clear from that time the rest for me are covered by a deep dark fog due to extreme emotional trauma from my parents fighting before they divorced those 2 memories 1 is good the other bad the good 1 I can remember everything vividly the smell the emotions the sight and what was happening around me the 2nd is bad and painful it was once covered in the fog but has surfaced after more then 8yrs it was me hiding under my covers in my room the door locked and me crying in fear trying to block out the screaming of my parents fighting I don't remember it vividly but I do remember I was scared from the look on my face even tho looking back now I don't feel those emotions when I think of it like I do the good memory the rest of my childhood even the good memories are covered I know they're there but I can't see them or tell what they are or what happened in them no matter how hard I try and remember them and I've tried so many others ways of bringing them out like liv was with the victim
