I was married young and my husband was very cruel and would s*ffocate and s*xually assa*lt me in really terrible ways. I finally reported him and was interviewed by two male officers, one 20’s and one 40’s and they said marriage WAS consent, and the asked “are you sure you’re not just mad at your husband?” They were literally almost laughing while I cried and tried to say what he did. I tried to “leave” my life 3 weeks later. I know now how truly wrong they were. I hate them too

The first was is so sad but it’s so beautiful for the mom of the little girl that died to see that the little boy didn’t mean it and ask the judge to let him go free of charge. Most people would be blind with hate and would try their hardest to make sure he gets as much time as he can get but she didn’t. She didn’t want two innocent lives to be lost
