I remember this episode - Casey was beaten by the victim's brother because he was a misogynistic zealot. It was less about his sister being a victim and more about him wanting to sell her off to another man.

They should have never created a new show for him. It was fun at first but the villain had too much of a story arc stretching into the second season. 3rd season was not good. He shouldve been back on SVU.

@ironsightsmcgillycudy775329 күн бұрын
@@mr.d.572 not even too woke, just too stupid. There is so much crime in the world. If they just went back to the old style of rewriting real crimes, both violent street level and white collar, and add a bit of the dramatic flare within reason they would be raking in the dough. Avoid the hyper on the nose social grandstanding that's ruined the writing and just make a gritty no nonsense cop show.
@SupersonicWaveLength11 күн бұрын
@@ironsightsmcgillycudy7753 Doubt that would work. There's a lot of crime, yes, but real-life crime is extremely boring. The truly exciting ones, the ones with all sorts of intrigue or the ones showcasing the worst depravity, are few and far between. Given just how much excitement audiences have been exposed to, they can no longer go back to the old stuff anymore. While power-creep exists in TV crime, thrills from real life crime hasn't changed much over the course of human history.
