the thing that bugs me is that this woman is neglectful to children and does not seem to understand the consequences of her actions. its horrible

She understands perfectly...that's why she went to such lengths to hide her crimes. It was apethy,not ignorents

This woman is pure evil, she steals a child, kills him and gets another child to pass it off as the same child, how horrible can you get?
@RLucas300010 сағат бұрын
She’s not evil, an accident happened, the child ate pills and was dead before they even realized. She freaked out and tried to cover it up. She didn’t even shake the baby and hurt it that way. The baby did it itself. I certainly wouldn’t give her years in jail, it was a tragedy. She certainly deserves a penalty for not reporting the death, for improper disposal of the body but she didn’t kill the baby. I would give her 10,000 hours of community service, 2,000 per year for the next 5 years. That is 40 hours per week for 50 weeks a year. She must use her celebrity to speak at schools, colleges, jails on the dangers of prescription drugs and how harm can come to your baby you love in the blink of an eye. She must use her fame to make the world a better place, as a full time job. Far better than her sitting in jail which helps no one.

@@RLucas3000 Bet you wouldn't be saying that if she was a mum living on a sink estate!

@@RLucas3000 Willful neglect IS murder if it leads to the child's death. If given a slap on the wrist, then the cycle of celebrity adoptions would continue. For a child of that age to be unattended on the floor while your pills were dumped there without picking them up and expecting house keeping to clean up your mess, endangering a child's life and the ultimate death, deserves prison time..

Wow, Jennifer Beals and Anna Chulmsky. I love when L&O gets big-name actors to do guest spots.

Hey, Billy Burke as a lawyer at 09:04! I knew that voice even before I could look at the screen and confirm it with my eyes. Say what you want, but he did great as Charlie Swan, really good actor, love seeing him here

As soon as the lawyer gave the "star's" version I knew the nanny was going to get thrown under the bus. Is this about the time of the Angelina Jolie African adoption furore???
@voidcadet10 сағат бұрын
2005 Jolie adopted an orphan from Ethiopia. 2006 Madonna adopted an orphan from Malawi. 2007 (January) This episode was broadcast. Could have been about either of them, but Madonna would have been more topical at the time.

I feel so bad for Christopher’s father in all this. Thinking you’re giving your son to a woman promising to give him a better life to not only take him back home after 3 days instead of at least a year and not letting him see his son (and when he saw that wasn’t his son i almost flipped bricks) but to be so negligent that you left your pills around for a kid could get to it and throwing your own nanny under the bus to clean up your mess you paid her to do. I hope it was proven it was an accidental shooting and got off free because he’s always been through enough.

The actress was good. Even in the last frame you could see that she was thinking how she could get out of this, not that the child died.

Good story. But in real life? State you request an attorney and do not wish to be detained, you will remain silent and consent to no search. Then do not speak till the lawyer is on zoom or in person.

Because you're not being reminded of a very political applicant, who is hot news at this time. You are using this to try and gain comments/responses and/or just to ignite a conversation/argument, like farming.
