What’s funny is Lupo’s actor played a defense attorney in the episode right before this one. The season finale where he grilled possibly the most disliked detective in Law and Order history, Nina Cassady. I’d like to think Van Buren, who hated her as much as the audience, finally fired her immediately after the finale.

It's sad how the brother didn't want to live anymore and decided to commit suicide and the detectives tried to figure out if Tom Lupo got any help from anyone including a female nurse.

the FBI sometimes does that, my guess is that it was just overlooked in the writing as an FBI agent or someone undercover would be doing that, not your average patrolman

Cyrus Lupo was going through his brother's lock box and found his wrist watch and wedding band and put it on the table that the wife of brother knew about and was shedding tears because she lost her husband. 😢
