As a man of faith myself, I do not condone the “I found god” defense. It only make things worse. As Jesus says in Matthew 7 “not every one who saith into me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of god.” The issue I find with many who claim to be Christian is that they believe in Christ, but not his words.

I always believed that when one commits an immoral crime, 2 separate judgements are given. The judgement of fellow men in this life, and the judgement of God on your soul. A good person would accept both. I don't attend church, because whilst I pray to God, I realise that all too many people are fallible, and teachings can be made up or twisted.

In 2012 there was a righteous hustle where someone made a website where they told believers of the rapture that since their pets wouldn't go to heaven, the website creators, because they weren't Christians, would look after the Christians pets. All for a non-refundable payment.

@@kreigguardsman3355 yeah, it does look pretty silly, especially after it's been claimed to have happened (or scheduled) like umpteen times, and Jesus himself said he had no clue when the end times would be. I mean, you'd think us Christian's would get it through our heads that if Jesus himself didn't know, that no one else would know either. Something like this setup I think makes sense because its system set up for "when" rapture happens, and not the 30th of February or whenever specifically

I really wish Jeremy Sisto would’ve been in the new episodes in the new season that finally came out recently this year in 2022. I loved when his character (Lupo) was partners with Barnard (aka Anthony Anderson, who IS in the reboot but apparently already left the series after season 21, which was just one season of the new episodes of the show’s return). I just loved their dynamic as partners! My favorite will always be Law & Order: SVU though (I think I watched that first and watched all of the seasons a while before watching the original) but I do love watching the original Law & Order every now and then. I really need to binge Law & Order from the beginning. Ive watched full episodes before and A LOT of clips on KZbin but I have not seen every episode, unlike SVU where I’ve watched every episode and a lot of them I’ve watched more than once or even more than twice, especially seasons 1-12. It’s hard to watch season 13 initially and for fans of the show, you’ll know exactly my reason for that. Their new characters grew on me though and I enjoyed Amaro before he left and I love Rollins and of course Carisi who was initially a detective on the SVU squad but now he’s the ADA of the unit after Barba and Peter left.

It was pretty twisty, I'd recommend checking out the TV tropes summary, but cliff notes are they think the Sacred Exodus guy killed the website stiff because he was trying to get back his donation which was made with stolen gold coins. It then turns out it was another Sacred Exodus guy who was embezzling the donations to start a private military company in Beirut and he takes shelter at the Iranian embassy. They eventually get him out with shenanigans and through a highly politicised court trial they manage to get the sacred exodus guy to flip on the other sacred exodus guy and get the murder charge.

I know, it's sort of an oxymoron & I recognize this, it's just what I believe. Too many conspiracies & proved evidence of translation errors as well as things spoken about seemed so important your salvation depends on it, but just the single verse on it?
