@@SAMMYBAMBAM24 Jessi likened it to being slowly heated to the point of a boil, rather than being tossed right into boiling water. First of all let me say, they are innocent until proven guilty, unfortunately… Let’s hope the Judge makes them serve the maximum amount of time, (which I believe is ten years per count) and makes them serve it consecutively for all six charges. For example, if they get five years per charge, with six charges that would amount to thirty years, consecutively. This way the children would all be adults before they are released from prison… Using the same scenario, five years per charge, with six charges, if the Judge allows the sentences to be run concurrently they would only have to serve five years total… This scenario, IMO, is way to lenient for what they have done, the two minor aged children would only be fifteen and seventeen.

The amount of abuse in Utah is absolutely insane. When LDS children start going to school with non church members they start understanding things that are not right. The LDS parents see this as defiance and the abuse starts. Google the number of Youth group homes just in the state of Utah. It is staggering. They hid them under different names and when the county shuts them down they open in a new county. There are no requirements to work there. My niece came from another state and got a job with no background. We were snooping into what was happening. She would bring the kids to my house and the stories they told us were insane. Police, church officials, school teachers and administrators did nothing for these kids. By law they are supposed to report to DCFS/ CPS but they don’t instead they tell the parents what was said. Creating a worse situation for them in the home. They question the children in front of the parents and of course the children say nothing. I know all of this for a FACT. The only reason this particular situation was found out was because the outside media got involved. When the church teaches Fasting as a way to search for answers of course parents are going to go the wrong direction. When the church teaches taking away things it goes to far. Police will tell anyone that calls to report something that parents have the right to discipline their child however they see fit in the state of Utah. (Heard this one directly) There are thousands of these type cases in this state and no one cares. It is not about what you do but more about WHO YOU KNOW 🤝 iykyk

Jesse is so eloquent and articulates their trauma and suffering in a manner that is indicative of how they’ve been able to recover from such a dark experience with their abuser.

tuned in for jessi. they are so brave! I'm so glad that they are finally, at least somewhat, validated. hopefully, jodi (and ruby, too) are held completely accountable for their actions.

I can't think of a reason other than having a serious mental health problem for someone to do that to the person they are supposed to love more in this world very sad

Watch her in the podcast it’s long and very detailed and heart breaking, and amazing how Jessie turned out to be a very very awesome good person with a big heart she didn’t turn bad for what she was put through

I first heard their story on the Mormon Stories Podcast. It took them over 14 years to even be remotely OK after it all. I hope Jessi continues their healing journey, that Jodi's incarceration will bring some justice and peace. Same for anyone else Jodi hurt. I hope those kids will be able to move on and heal without too much baggage

I'm so grateful to Jessie for coming forward. She is so intelligent and well meaning. She looks great, the new hair style, makeup & clothes are a great look, she is very pretty. I think her new look shows she is healing more & more now that she has a voice & justice will prevail...praying for her success in life.

You're miistaken, my man. Ruby didn't take her sons bed away. She took his entire bedroom away, giving it to another kid. He was forced to sleep on a bean bag. Imagine hownscrewed upnhis neck & spine must be. And, those poor kids who were taped & starved. So terrible. 😢

Thank you so much to Jessi for speaking out and being so open. What happened to you absolutely breaks my heart and I am so sorry that you had to suffer at the hands of this abhorrent excuse for a human being. I wish you nothing but love and happiness in your future and hope that your hope, that Jodi will never again have access to vulnerable people, is true for the rest of her life.

Jesse is so cool. I sincerely hope that at some point in the future, they're able to make peace with what happened to them. Complex PTSD is something they will have to endure for probably the rest of their life, so I hope that with a combination of long term therapy and medication, they will eventually learn to enjoy life again. Well wishes to you Jesse.

They deny everything. How could they admit sending their child to a monster? They don't even want anyone to know that Jessi's aunt IS a monster.

I grew up with an emotionally abusive parent and it doesn’t go away. I am 76 and my parent has been dead a few years but there are still triggers. Many fewer since she died but even that took time. I’m praying Jessie gets relief to some degree. I too have PTSD but has lessened since I don’t get phone calls or letters or reports from others about how bad I am.

This is another Shary example of institutional betrayal inside the families, the community, and the professional therapist company of Rudy Hildebrandt- Jessi Hildebrand. You are brave, always have the courage to speak up, and are not alone. Following the cases running, I hope it will make changes not only in the US but worldwide.
