Maybe the teacher who used to call Ruby because the little girl forgot her lunch and didn't have anything to eat will be mad that this specific charge has been dropped. Ruby's answer was that it was the girl fault because she was in charge of making it herself. She did starve her kids before Jodi. She's not sorry, she's sorry she got caught and even the hearing show was for the cameras.

There was more between Jodie and Ruby relationship, Jodie is a monster and they are equally guilty and I pray they get 60 years! I pray for continue healing for Jesse, and the Franke family. Thank God this little boy was able to escape and run to the neighbor. Thank God for the neighbor who acted quickly and did the right thing! Otherwise it could have been worse!!

Totally agree with the neice. The trial would have brought out all the nitty gritty details.

Hidden True Crime did a zillow tour of Jodi's house. Its up for sale for over 5 million! Its unbelievable. Also shows the room where Rubys young daughter was held. It a mircle the boy was able to get out. The hous was over ten thousand square feet.

Neither of these women will receive a lengthy sentence. First they will get credit for the time they have currently served. They will get the minimum one year for each admission of guilt. That means credit for time served subtracted from 4 years. Then they get parole.

Emily D bakers said more than 4 def. but wouldn't speculate beyond that

That's up to the judge. Nothing in either plea deal holds the judge to reduce the sentences.

Once they are sentenced and in big girl prison, let's see if they make it the 8 months once the other inmates hear what they've done to children...yikes

Every single person hopes Jodi gets many many years in prison. She's a real monster.

How ironic, she said control was being in distorsion, and both were control psycos.

Don't forget that she also said: bullying, blaming, aggression, entitlement. Both Ruby and Jodi have always been in distortion.

Jessy is now a personal heroe. Listening them to talk about what they went and the mental and espiritual recovery, helps me understand some of my personal development as a abused kid. Hope them the best, and please excuse my broken english, I m seen this from Mexico and english is a second language.

That doesn't mean she wasn't manipulated. Some people accept hook lines and sinker because of their personalities. Of course she's still guilty.

@@nancyreichenbach2938yeah also she’s an adult so it’s ridiculous to use that excuse she wasn’t a child manipulated she was a grown women with multiple kids in which she should know to care for but instead she hated them and wanted to see them in pain.

@@nancyreichenbach2938 well, I don't think manipulation works that way. They didn't start out as partners. So there was a lot of time to screw with ones mind.

Why can’t they file new charges against Jody for what she did to Jessi? Since Jessi went to the police back then, shouldn’t their statute of limitations be preserved?

No. Charges must be filed in order to stop time.

Good grief. No mother treats a child like Franke & doesn’t know that it’s wrong. Now claiming that she was manipulated. That’s a trying to save your bacon tactic. Franke deserves 60 yrs. For sure 30 yrs. before parole eligibility.

Jodi pled guilty to avoid the massive amount of witnesses that would be on the stand. If you want to spot a Narcissist, their open accusations will always be hidden confessions. A Narcissist will forever tell on themselves.
