Why isn’t Jones’ lawyer doing his job? He is sitting there silent when he should be intervening.
@Don_Kee2 жыл бұрын
My guess is because the judge is so biased. Every single time they try to object she overrules them. Yet every time the roles were reversed and the plaintiffs lawyer objected she sustained it. He probably felt defeated already, just guessing by the tone in his voice when he calls for an objection. She even smirks and rolls her eyes when saying "overruled".
@zeroch1ll1502 жыл бұрын

@@Kaspen82 I'm not even gonna waste my time with you beyond this reply. It's so blatantly obvious she is biased against Jones, and I'm not even a fan of him. He's a clown, but even clowns deserve fair trials. Just the way she talks down to him and his team vs how she talks to the plaintiffs team. If you can't see it then you must be huffing paint and I can't help you there. A judge is supposed to be impartial. When a judge rolls their eyes and smirks when a lawyer calls for an objection that's unprofessional at the very least. Also, she overruled every single objection from the defense, when a couple of them were solid objections. Then sustained every single objection from the plaintiffs side. I'm not going to go back and find timestamps for you. You have your own eyes and ears.

@@Don_Kee I would have to side with Kaspen82. Her body language at times can give away her feelings but procedurally, she has done anything wrong. Went back and watched it...the defensive objections didn't really have any merit. Easily over ruled.

A default judgment (also known as judgment by default) is a ruling granted by a judge or court in favor of a plaintiff in the event that the defendant in a legal case fails to respond to a court summons or does not appear in court. The default decision may be vacated if the defendant can establish valid reasons for not appearing in court or ignoring a summons. Federal Rule 37(b)(2)(v) states a person who fails to appear as required in court can be found in default. Unless proof of damages is necessary, the default decision will take damages into account if they were included in the complaint. Default judgment criteria and rulings could be different in different jurisdictions.

It wasn't a story. It was a propaganda piece with intentionally deceptive editing made up of willful lies. Playing something like that as if it's some kind of "story" is simply taking the other guy's propaganda and making it your own. He didn't say, "Look at how this piece of lying propaganda twists the truth and how it's edited to mislead," he showed it as if it were a story all on its own. He doesn't get to do that and claim that he's simply reporting. And he's finding out now that is the reality of it.
