I don’t know enough about this case to have a solid opinion, but I don’t like how people keep insinuating that the car couldn’t have been shot up because the driver didn’t have a scratch on him. I’ve unfortunately have been in a car 2 times in my younger years that have been shot up in drive bys & one time it was a car full with 5 people and only one person was shot in the leg, maybe 2 had small scratches from glass but when you looked at the car afterwards it looked impossible that everyone lived & only one non life threatening injury.. The other time it was only 2 of us in the car and nobody was injured at all & car still looked pretty bad.. also I’ve been in real bad car accidents where some people didn’t have a scratch & the car looked smashed.. That might be a small part but I’ve watched multiple videos right now & they keep using that as a reason why they didn’t believe it was a drive by from the beginning.. & that’s just not an accurate theory.

I dont know if he's guilty or innocent but it's common with these rap artist that the prosecution tends to use their own rap lyrics against them. The proof is that they found shell casings INSIDE the car in the left rear passenger seat which is where he was sitting. Shell casing come out in the location where the gun was when it was fired, not where the bullets end up. And the autopsy shows they were shot at close range bc there were gun powder burns on the victims face. How would a spent shell casing get INSIDE the car if it were a drive-by? How would powder burns get on the victims face if the shooters were in a different car? What about the trajectory of the bullets? You dont need a specific gun to determine trajectory. How was he not injured in any way whatsoever? They dont have a recording of the shooting but these things definitively prove the shots were fired from inside the car. What about the location data of melly's cellphone at the time of the shooting? What about the correspondece on social media saying he "i did that"?What about the witness that changed her story and the emails saying that ymw melly paid her off? And now again she suddenly doesnt remember anything. Have you been following the whole trial or did you just take the defense team's word for it that there wasnt any evidence? Yea i think it was a bad decision to seek the death penalty bc for some reason people think a mountain of circumstantial evidence is a lack of any evidence. I guess there are a lot of people who cant connect dots or add 2+2. The jurors will most likely be going through the trial looking for a higher requirement for certainty with the death penalty and since there is a mountain of circumstial evidence instead of a smoking gun, the prosecutors were too optimistic.

I just started following this case but the prosecution has had this case for five years and it took five years for it to get to trial, but doesn’t have a solid case. This case should’ve been done by the book all the way it seems like the prosecutors just cut corners left and right and that’s why their case is falling apart. They have all the evidence I’ve seen plenty of evidence that could’ve been used to put him away and would’ve been a solid slam dunk, but not every t was crossed not every I was Doted and they were loopholes in the evidence, and how it was obtained I really do hope that justice gets served because that family deserves justice but the prosecutors got to do better. It’s just crazy. The amount of stuff that has been thrown out that could’ve been used as actual solid evidence. and to top it all off you’ve had this case for five years we got to do better.
