They don't issue a lot of restraining orders. The judge doesn't know the truth. People pay to file these orders. That's how the courts make their money. And then they are employed with our tax dollars to follow the law. They pay for college degrees to teach them the law. A random person who takes their last $100 to plea for help? No one cares. Gotta pay for our lunches, coffee breaks, etc - because we have more important things to do. We're the important ones here, not the poor people who use food stamps for their lunches and coffee.

The judge was fair he granted ex parte. And arrange the hearing. He felt that it was not reasonable. You have to weigh both sides of it and the other aspect is. You've also got to think if the sister is in the house now they could be squabbling over the property now that the mom's dead. And she could be lying.
