When I retired from the military in 2014, I started working in corrections. This is a daily issue, and why I hardly trust anyone I work with. They usually find the officer or officer’s with financial problems, or going through a hard time in life, and use it to their advantage. They have anyone from a CO I, all the way up to warden’s and even higher bringing in contraband. The officers think it’s a easy $1,500 in their pocket. What they fail to realize is once they smuggle the first item in, they’re on the hook. If they say no, they will be threatened with being reported.
