She got married I believe at the age of 18 with JP officiating the service and she babysat for JP and his first wife. The Millers then divorced and he married Mica.after her divorce. I think the women were civil to each other and even friendly because of the children. Alison actually caught him and Mica together. So sad.

From what I have read, she was like a full-time babysitter/almost nanny to the children, and Mica and her husband were very close to the family. Her and her husband were with them all the time. JP even proceeded over Mica’s 1st wedding; and helped her ex-husband proposed to her and everything. The whole time he was grooming her and trying to sleep with her-this imploding his 1st marriage. It’s my assumption that he then moved on to somebody else (this friend’s mom) and wanted to get Mica out of the picture- however he had to do it. I think his ex knew how sadistic he was and how manipulative he could be. She felt bad for Mica and I think she cared about her greatly. And she knew that Mica was a safe person for her kids to be with.

I’m so confused about details and the timeline of this case. So, Mica was married when she started having an affair with him? So, why do people say that he groomed her since she was a teen? Was she a child bride? Also, she had an affair with him while also being very close to his wife at the time? And what should he be charged with if it’s clear that she took her own life based on the gun purchase and 911 call?

These allegations remind me of Chad Daybell's story where spouses/loved ones just happened to die within days of each other... this sounds all too familiar. Using religion for indiscretions. If anything, this pastor needs to be kicked out of this church.

Why was a man who divorced his first wife even a pastor to begin with? I thought the Bible has rules about that. Titus 1:6; 1 Tim 3:2. Guess the church has made some exceptions. Second, he is absolutely responsible for her death. He’s the man, the husband. Where was he when she supposedly took her own life? He’s supposed to “protect” his wife. He is an abuser and needs to pay.
