I just left a 29 year relationship with a narcissist, I moved quietly, covertly one day while he was at work. @@usaroxx8085 I’m not sure he was a trust fund baby but he did get an inheritance at some point. I’m guessing his grandparents or parents passed away. He was trying to make money but his status as a loser amped up his control tactics. Blaming others is a key sign of narcissism. It was always his wife’s fault, the children’s fault or someone else’s fault. Perhaps we never know who we really are until we are tested. He didn’t get refined and stronger under pressure but he got twisted and broke and broke his family.

My ex would convince me that he despised women being abused in anyway. He would tell me what he would do to the guy if he ever was in a situation a woman was being abused. Turns out he beat me and 3 other ex girlfriends before me. Talk is cheap. Don't believe a word of it. It's a tactic to make you feel safe until they unleash their evil. It's been going on for 1000s of year. Social media just makes us more aware . Western society also gives women a voice and protection that Eastern societies still don't have sadly. There is a lady rn from Saudi Arabia trying to divorce her husband .She actually escaped to the UK but was kidnapped and taken back. Another young girl from India locked herself in an airport hotel room trying to escape, both if I remember did not have positive outcomes. The SA "6th wife" has not been heard from since and another I just read about a 16 yr India bride was set on fire in the "town square" bc she wanted to divorce and go back to highschool...there are few documentaries on yt and other streaming media on this subject. It actually very disheartening
