Johnny Depp Spent Over $14 Million During Divorce with Amber Heard

During the defamation trial on Thursday, Johnny Depp's business manager Edward White testified that Depp spent over $14 million on his divorce with Amber Heard. White stated that Depp paid $500k to Heard's legal counsel, $6.8m directly to Heard, and all the community liabilities that accumulated during their marriage.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why, but it's Rottenborn's job (even though he sucks at it) to prevent that from happening by calling an objection. Once he does that it is upto the Judge to rule on whether the objection is righteous or not. If it isn't the witness is allowed to continue. The issue is that Rottenborn has now called 2 hearsay objections on witness' giving evidence to things he did and both times the judge slapped him down for it.

Johnny is so done with this trial, he looks like he's just there to be entertained. He's very relax and smiling a lot, which it's a good thing to see. Well, he has nothing to hide and has proved he was the victim, and Amber the abuser. On the other side. AH looks sad and in need of Prince to save her. The annoying part is to watch AH lawyers, who are incompetent and extremely rude. It's disappointingly to watch the judge's interjections as well, which have been faulty at times. The big surprise of this saga was to find out the extent of Amber's cruelty and how much suffering and damage she's caused. Really mind blowing 🤯 Poor Johnny. He didn't deserve this! 😢

I agree mostly but I would not say that AH’s lawyers are necessarily incompetent. I assume they understood the merits of AH’s case against JD and decided to take an aggressive approach to trip up JD or any witnesses that might say something supportive of JD. JD’s lawyers can be more polite and comparatively relaxed as they seem to have better evidence to work with. I really like the careful, considered way the accountant and psychologist answered AH’s lawyers.

This trial, thus far, appears to have successfully demonstrated that Heard is a manipulative, toxic, duplicitous, deceptive and a poisonous individual who has lied to the world and played the victim when in fact she was the perpetrator in Depp’s tragic demise. I do genuinely hope that Depp bounces back and does so with aplomb! Depp isn’t a angel, but he was definitely the victim here and I’m glad he’s able to clear his name.

I’ve served on a jury for a very serious case that took over 5 weeks and I’ve heard more objections, hearsay’s , sustained’s etc. in this 10 minute clip than my 5 weeks let alone all the others that have been announced over the last 10+ days….surely this can’t be normality in the US court? Ireland is by no means a shining example on legality but this carry on just seems farcical to me and trying to devoid logic and reason?
