A whole lot of zero - the most @CNN offered was to ‘tell your story’ but with the caveat that they fictionalise it first.

I would disagree that afghans being charged those prices is a nothing story. It was happening is some regard. That’s not the point anyway. The point is the defamation. They’re not on trial for airing a “nothing story.”

@@Poksaler that's the thing. Afghans weren't being charged. Sponsors were. Cnn created a story from nothing. They needed a bad guy for their "story" and created one that didn't exist. All fiction.

Having watched probably 85% of the trial so far, in my opinion, I think CNN is. They used his own words in their story- nothing is fabricated. And they may report it when the trial is over. In all things considered this is an event from several years ago about a man no one's heard of.

I don't think they're allowed to, legally. If not by trial court, by their own attorney's. I'm just guessing, based on other legal cases I've focused on and what little bit I know about the basic process.

In fairness, it’s pronounced differently by different people. I have a friend with the same last name. She and her family (holders of said last name) pronounce it differently. Same goes with McMahon. I have family with that last name. The family in the south have pronounced it differently for generations than the family in the north. It is what it is. Not a big deal.

This judge is sadly in over his head. I do feel bad that this is being televised to a larger audience. He clearly just doesn't have the experience he needs in order to properly call balls and strikes for both the defense and the plaintiff. If anything is decided in this case for either side, it's quite obvious an appeal for either side could easily be granted due to the incompetence of the judge overseeing the trial.
@mare631813 күн бұрын
I disagree. You must look at precedent. If you have an argument to make as to his incompetence, please do. It seems odd that you make your comment without a shred of anything to back up your claim.
