This is so heartbreaking. I’ve been in long term relationships with two single mothers of small children including one that became my wife and the mother of my children. He had been in the corner so long because the man would not let him use the bathroom, so immediately I went out there and I threw him out of my house. I was so angry. They have inconsistent dosing, which means one gummy could have significantly more in it than another one in the very same bottle. Kids are dying from overdoses for this reason. People literally don’t think that. They just have no patience to deal with the child- so they “deal” with the child. It’s definitely not to make the child feel better it’s far more selfish than that.

Yeah, I knew a daycare worker that used to make the babies cry and when I looked closer, she was pinching the babies so they could go to sleep. Some of the babies were so terrified of her that they just went to sleep before getting pinched.

My grandma taught me years ago don't spoil my baby because nobody is going to love him the way i do and when im not around people (friends, family, teachers) will mistreat him because they don't have the same love i have for my child. Best advice I ever received because people are ridiculous

I have stayed single all of the 13 years of my child’s life. I have talked to men but ultimately get scared by stories like these. My child’s safety comes before anything else. Also very thankful to my mom for watching my son when I worked and went to school.

I've lost a child who was a little younger than Trinity. My heart goes out to her mom. The young man didn't know what to do to care for the toddler or how to care for her. He was young and was trying to help out. This case has touched me in a way that I feel for the mom, but also feel for the young man as well. When he told her mom that it was too much, she should have listened. My prayers to both parties.

Why are people harping on that minor thing. It was probably just out of habit. She just found out something happened to her child and was frantic and didn't know exactly what happened but probably that he screwed up somehow and was just addressing him that way out of habit. She didn't have enough information or time to think at that point to know exactly how he contributed to the problem.

The mother should be held accountable as well. It's clear by the interrogation she know he was inappropriately disciplining this baby & did not cope well watching her, was very frustrated etc.. & she continued to leave her child with him. Do better.

@@Beth-ty8hn spoken just like someone who will be first to blame her if she is on welfare. Seems to me this is a mother trying to better herself and her child's life. She was at work! I'm sure she never thought something like this would happen. She's living in a hotel and going to work while he is watching the baby. If she could afford a sitter I'm sure the baby would have been at a sitter. Pray you never have to make those kind of choices.
