Agreed. Some bodies just look better in black, the fox mustang coupe and Buick GN are great examples of this. Back in the day, my 88 coupe fitted with 17" Simmons FR rims (275 rear and 245 front) with motorsport C springs and cobra brake conversion just looked intimidating on the street.

I need to know what double sided tape yall use to stick on them door moldings, I used 2 different 3M tapes now and both times I came outside the next day and both sides are on the ground. Also why do your molding look so flexible, do you leave them out in the sun before sticking them on?

Them was new moldings that all ready had the tape on them.If your reusing your old one they need a adhesion promoter sprayed on them before the 3m tape.The sun does help the tape stick a little better mostly to help keep the moldings flat.

@@blownfox does the door side need the adhesion promoter also because both times the tape was still stuck to both molding and not the doors
