skhanda was the blueprint PERIOD..the 2014 sound in hiphop is what everybody ran with for e.g the ayeye jam by Cass and Vigi is a product of the skhanda blueprint/new age kwaito in my opinion however TWC gave the new wave a not so conventional way of droppin music which in effect became a formula of testing if a jam is gonna catch fire or not which is genius too so i understand on both levels that the two movements had different impacts at different phases of the game!!

I think what Zingah is missing with the backing/record label chat is that...when you have the support (financial, PR, distribution and publishing) your impact is heavily positively influenced cause essentially for instance (Caracara can be used in an MTN add and reach that mass appeal, play on radio). BUT with TWC, they didnt have that. They never got airplay or their culture being replicated in the mainstream. But simply put, Cashtime had the bigger impact anikahle bafethu. I'm a TWC stan.
