You really don't get it right? They are trying to do it a bit more civilized not by damaging property. The thing with the sticker is that you have to work to get it off but the car is not damaged. If they try to civilize driver's with violence and damaging the car's on purpose... They failed...

Mihai Toni They can still add stickers. The sharp objects are for when drivers decide it is OK to driver into them. There is a big difference between a driver being blocked and refusing to move, and thus receiving a sticker, and intentionally driving into them.

00:27 - this situation shows that the problem is not just about safety, but about pedestrians being allowed to walk in peace. The lady was just walking when a car drove by and splashed her. Imagine being on your way to work, thinking your own thoughts and coping the the cold only to be splashed by cold mud. If a pedestrian threw water at you it would be an assault, but people are okay with it because they are sitting in a warm car. You can't haver a proper society if one group is allowed disrespect fellow citizens and break the law. It just leads to mistrust and anti-social behavior.

I just can't understand why so many people do this in Russia. Aren't they punished for it? If the police sees it, are they just gonna ignore it? And if they finally are gonna do something about it, then what are the punishment? Don't know the rules in other countries, but in Denmark you will be fined 420$ (or 3000 DKK) and given a strike. 3 strikes in a span of 3 years will result in them loosing their drivings license.

2000 rubles sounds like a joke to me. The lowest fine you can possibly get in Denmark is double that... But then again, Russia is a somewhat poor county. A warning to the Russians reading this, don't come to our country and make that stunt. That will be 27.000 Russian rubles.

I believe it's a 2,000 ruble (roughly $30 USD) fine and the police are pretty corrupt over there. You'd be hard pressed to find an officer that cares enough to actually fine the person.
